About Jennifer

My hometown is Perth in Western Australia and as a published author l have called Australia my home for many years though I was born in New Zealand.  For a good part of my life I have had  several successful businesses in the food industry.

Travel has always been part of who I am and I’ve explored many corners of the world.  I spent 16 unforgettable years living in Europe, experiences that have shaped not only my outlook on life but also my writing.

Poetry has been with me for as long as I can remember.  My poems are drawn from real life, the ups, the setbacks, the love, the laughter and the quiet strength it takes to keep moving forward. They’re honest words, sometimes light-hearted, sometimes raw but always with the hope of connecting with you, the reader, like a chat with a friend.

Right now, I’m gathering my poems together for a book that will be published soon, something I’m really excited about.
